Hi, I am Monica!

I am eager to share the benefits and lessons I have learned from my personal and professional journey, as well as my experiences as a mother of five and grandmother of nine. My professional life includes years as a high school teacher, flight attendant, daycare owner/director, psychotherapist, adjunct professor, and professional development specialist/consultant. I have also worked as a radio and TV presenter/producer in Trinidad and Tobago and am presently focused on becoming a better writer.

I am focused on building my online self-development business, which will offer courses, coaching, e-books, and group seminars.

My father was a school principal who died when I was four. I was raised by a single mother of eight in the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Her profound struggles made me determined to be self-sufficient and successful.
